Mrs. Parmley Books is a collection of original works by award winning children’s author,  Mary Alice Parmley.  A lifelong writer and master teacher, Mary Alice began crafting heartfelt, timeless stories as a young teacher. 

 During her 44-years in the classroom, Mary Alice developed a unique philosophy of education based on mutual respect, unyielding encouragement and genuine friendship.  She led by example and kept a constant focus on the impact she wanted to have on her students.  Mary Alice was awarded Kansas Master Teacher of the Year in 1988 from the Topeka School District. 

 Mrs. Parmley Books are based on Mary Alice’s ongoing passion for nurturing a love of reading and promoting shared time between generations.
