Seasons
The changing seasons have always brought joy and inspiration to my life. Spring is a wake-up call to begin the special joys of rebirth throughout the land. Rain brings rainbows caught up against the rain-washed sky. The summer follows with new greens and yellows of the birch trees. Robins build their unique mud and grass baskets. I hope for a family in the large ash trees protecting the garden that I love. I look forward to autumn and the falling of beautiful leaves, the turning of the garden’s flowers, the distant honk of flying geese at night. In winter, I watch the first soft fall of snow, realizing each flake is like one of us, individual and unique. And so my book Seasons is born. I like to share with others these events, awakening their gentle, inward thoughts.
